Search Engine Optimization
Consider the following list into a website. These are general "do's" for the major search engines. Step by step tutorial on the specifics off to achieve top ranking search engines.

Doorway Pages
Doorway pages are designed to optimize and get a high ranking on search engines for specific keywords and keyword phrases. They utilize all the "tricks" and they are meant for search engines, not for humans. That's why these pages will act as "doorways" to the real website on a site containing keyword, product or service.

Website Title
The title of website is most important information needed to achieve top ranking on all search engines and directories. Make sure to utilize TITLE tags by inserting them right after HEAD tag and before META tags.

META Tags Description
Make sure to have META description and META keyword tags on all web pages. META tags provide information for search engine's spiders/robots with the description of site and the keywords relevant to that page. Some of the search engine robots will simply choose the first 25 words on page as the description. Make sure META tags are in HEAD tags, right after TITLE tag.

Header Tags
Make sure to insert keywords in H1 through H6 header tags. Most search engines assign higher relevancy points to words inside header tags, so take advantage of it. Remember, H1 gets more relevancy points than H6.

Keywords at The Top
Most search engines look at the first 100-150 words on a page when indexing. So make sure to insert the most important keywords at the top of page, the first 25 words being the most important!

URL Keywords
Try to insert keywords in URL address, this is most powerfull of targetted keyword.

Keyword Links
Hyperlink keywords within page, preferable to URL keywords.

Use Alternative Tags
Alternative tags are used to describe images on a page for people who browse the web with their graphics turned off. But, it can take advantage of these tags by inserting keywords in them.

Comment Tags
Comment tags are HTML code that webmasters make to themselves, when designing a website. They can only be seen in source HTML codes and NOT on website. But, it can take advantage of this by inserting some keywords in the comment tags and make sure to keep them at the top of the page for the best results.

Website Submission
There are thousands of new websites added daily to the search engines. Due to this huge influx of sites, ranking will drop dramatically and sometimes a site will disappear all together! Because of this, consider to re-submit a website to Google.
